The format of this test would be similar to last one.
Vocabulary
1.Make sure that you can label these body parts with characters.
2. You must know the characters Pinyin and English Meaning of these vocabulary (if you are having problem with some of these words, type in Character or Pinyin the Arch Chinese dictionary on the right to see sample sentences).

2) Write down the script of your call to your teacher asking for a sick leave

My Future Home Project Description (Due Monday, 12/05)
我未来的家
What does your
dream house look like? Imagin you own a home yourself, where would it be, what
kind of setting it is, urban, suburban or rural? What type of home would you
own, Apartment, condominium, or a
single-family house? How many rooms do
you want for your house? What kind of rooms? In your 2nd project 我未来的家 (My Future Home), please include the following:
Cover Page:
1.
Include
the title in characters 我未来的家.
2.
A
picture of your future home looking from outside (This could drawn or a cut out
of picture you take from online sources.
3.
A
100-character paragraph describing the environment of your future home. You can
talk about what kind of setting, urban or rural? How do you plan to get to
work? What kind of public facilities are around? How is it that you choose to
live there? (Good schools? Quiet environment? Convenience? Accessible to other
facilities? Good commute to work?) Draft Due 11/22.

2.The floor plan of your future home. Make
sure you mark every room with characters. It should at least include a bedroom,
a bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room.

of your room that includes location of furniture and home appliances and label
them, you should have at least 5 items in the room.

HW 1. Write 2-3 sentences for each of those pictures. Have different symptom/sickness in which you have to use the following measures to cope with. Please use the form 你要是 + symptom/sickness, 就应该多 (少)+ (use terms used in the handout). Make sure you have 15 sentences in total.

1. Know how to use sentence connectors:

我昨天十一点才起床 (indiacte lateness, notice you don't use 了 with 才)

4. The use of "着" to indicate the continuation of an action or a state.

Pick 3 tasks (cannot be the one you did in the classroom): and write out the from-to (Ex. 医院-地铁站) location first and then create a Q & A like the example above to give direction to a random stranger. When you make conversation (remember to write questions as well!) , please keep in mind that you are giving direction to a person who does not have a map on hand and you need to give as accurate of information as possible!
