My Future Home Project Description (Due Monday, 12/05)

我未来的家

What does your dream house look like? Imagin you own a home yourself, where would it be, what kind of setting it is, urban, suburban or rural? What type of home would you own, Apartment, condominium,  or a single-family house?  How many rooms do you want for your house? What kind of rooms?  In your 2^nd project 我未来的家 （My Future Home）,  please include the following:

Cover Page：

1.     Include the title in characters 我未来的家.

2.     A picture of your future home looking from outside (This could drawn or a cut out of picture you take from online sources.

3.     A 100-character paragraph describing the environment of your future home. You can talk about what kind of setting, urban or rural? How do you plan to get to work? What kind of public facilities are around? How is it that you choose to live there? (Good schools? Quiet environment? Convenience? Accessible to other facilities? Good commute to work?) Draft Due 11/22.

1^st Page:

     1.Title that says  平面图 –floor plan

     2.The floor plan of your future home. Make sure you mark every room with characters. It should at least include a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room.

SAMPLE FLOOR PLAN (YOU DON'T HAVE TO INCLUDE FURNITURE AND APPLIANCES

3. A description of floor plan. How many rooms are there and what are they.  Ex. 这个房子有七个房间， 有两个卫生间， 两个卧室， 一个厨房， 一个客厅， 一个餐厅。

4.     Relative location of each room and their uses. Ex. 厨房在大门的对面， 是用来煮饭做菜的。 You can also describe all relative location of rooms first and then a separate paragraph for uses. 

2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th page :

For each of those pages, one page for bedroom, one page for living room and one page for kitchen.  You should have:

1.     A title that is the room of your house. EX.   厨房. 

2.     Layout of your room that includes location of furniture and home appliances and label them, you should have at least 5 items in the room.

You should label 5 of the furniture or appliances such as 床， 床头柜， 衣柜， 电视 ETC

3.     Description of the room’s items using “着”and measure words.  EX. 厨房的地上放着一部冰箱. 厨房的墙上挂着一幅图。 们的对面放着一张床 。Remember 5 items minimum， so you should have at least 5 sentences using “着” and measure word.

5^th page：

You can choose to do any other room，could be dining room， bathroom， balcony， or a gym in the house. Same requirement for those in 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th pages.

Other Notes:

-All characters need to be handwritten.

-Draft of description on for title page is due on Tuesday 11/22.  I will hand those back to you on Wednesday.

-Extra Credit for turning in on Friday 12/02 (2 points).

-I will be glad to read any draft during the process!
