Bilingual Menu Project (Due 10/24)

Imagine that you are opening a restaurant in China that is open to domestic AND international patrons. It could be a Chinese restaurant (you could focus on a specific variety. e.g. Hunan, Cantonese, Sichuan, etc), American restaurant or others serving various cuisines from the world.

You need to create a bilingual menu with Chinese and English. All Chinese characters need to be handwritten. Requirements for this project include:
1. A cover page featuring your restaurant's name, phone number, address (website or social media pages is a plus) and an image (you could draw or print out one and glue to the page
2. A page containing bilingual introduction to your restaurant. The Chinese intro needs to be more than 100 characters. The English translation must correspond to Chinese
3. FIVE pages with 5 categories of things you have in your restaurant, those categories could be 冷盘（cold dish）， 热炒（stir-fried）， 小吃（snack）， 糕点（sweet pastry），冰品（cold desert）， 甜品（dessert）， 汤（soup）， 面食（noodle）， 面类（noodles）， 米饭类（Rice）， 炸类（Fried food）烧烤（BBQ) etc.
4. Each food page needs to have category name as heading. Each page needs to have 5 items with a picture (could be hand-drawn or printed out and glued to it), bilingual name of the food and ingredients (list at least 3) AND price in local currency Renminbi (please do research to set reasonable price).
5. A back cover page and some sort of binding that puts pages together (you could do spiral, strings, or just staple)

Please keep in mind that you are to attract customers by design of your food combination and pricing.

Grading Rubric (project is worth 100 points)
